For many years, Merk & Merk has been regarded as a reliable partner of yacht owners and those who want to become one. First founded in 2004 by father and son, Walter and Julian Merk, as a teak deck repair and refit company, the Merk & Merk name quickly became synonymous with expertise and market knowledge. Their build excellence and effortless performance are characteristics that are still echoed in the company’s core values today.
After moving to Tribunj, a picturesque little fishermen’s village at the heart of the Croatian Adriatic coast, they established a service company for boats and yachts and then successively entered the yacht sales business by working as distribution partners for shipyards and as a yacht broker for private clients.
Today Merk & Merk has more than 40 employees at Marina Tribunj and represents the brands Princess Yachts, SACS Marine and Solaris Yachts. The company’s team of dedicated technicians, sales brokers and marketing specialists all share a genuine passion for being at sea and collectively possess a range of experience and knowledge for beyond anyone else in the industry.
Merk & Merk continues to grow!
Merk & Merk is delighted to open a second location in Germany, at Lake Constance, in summer 2024 and will expand the network with a third office in Mallorca in spring 2025. A German-speaking team is available to customers at all locations to ensure seamless support and excellent service. With their in-depth knowledge of the market, the Merk & Merk team finds the right yacht for every interested party on the pre-owned or new build market and provides its customers with an 24/7 after-sales service.
