The history of Princess Yachts
The shipyard was founded in the early 1960s by David King. From the beginning, the brand’s focus was on high-performance motor yachts. At that time, the shipyard still bore the name “Marine Projects”. In 1981, the company was acquired by South African Graham J. Beck. It has been known as Princess Yachts International PLC since 2001.
The production of the luxury yachts still takes place in Plymouth, UK. Meanwhile, the shipyard occupies an area of more than one million square meters, operates in 119 countries and employs more than 3,000 people, each a master of his craft.

The Princess X Class
With the new X Class, you will experience a whole new concept in yacht design – super flybridge yachts that completely rethink yacht architecture and set a new benchmark for luxurious living space.
Princess Yachts’ new X Class represents Princess’ premium luxury yachts and is the perfect vessel for those who want to spend extended periods of time on board and travel far and wide. Models in this class are available from 80 feet. All of them feature an impressive flybridge with its own deckhouse.
The Princess X95 is not only a new superyacht, but embodies an entirely new concept from Princess Yachts. She features beautifully shaped surfaces and long flowing lines, defining a striking design language for this new class. Both her flybridge and main deck cover nearly the entire length of the yacht, offering expansive spaces with a flexibility that allows you to tailor each voyage to your guests’ preferences.
The Princess Y Class
Under the Y Class from Princess, you will find superyachts with flybridge from 72 feet. Currently there are 4 models in this class: Y95, Y85, Y78 and Y72.
The new Princess Y78 features a contemporary exterior design, as well as state-of-the-art interior materials and finishes. The flexible deck layout features a walkthrough foredeck with U-shaped seating and sunbathing areas for relaxing and lounging. The spacious flybridge has ample room for freestanding furniture or a crane including tender. The lower deck houses all three en suite guest cabins, while a dedicated staircase leads to the owner’s cabin via a private lobby area amidships.
Princess F Class
Princess F Class features classic T-top flybridge yachts ranging in length to 70 feet.
The Princess F55 combines performance with luxury and impresses in particular with the luxurious feeling of space, while at the same time she can speed up to 33 knots. She guarantees outstanding performance without compromising comfort.
The Princess S Class
The “S” in Princess’ S Class stands for Sportbridge. Sportbridge yachts combine a sporty hull with a super cool flybridge, lot of space and a nice electro hydraulic bimini top in grey canvas.
The S66’s lightweight Deep-V hull provides breathtaking maneuverability at up to 38 knots. Generously equipped deck areas include a spacious seating area on the foredeck. The hydraulic swim platform and 3.3-meter parking garage provide the perfect base for water sports enthusiasts.
The Princess V Class
The Princess V-Class yachts are characterized by a sporty and efficient V-hull, as well as by their open concept.
The Deep V hull of the Princess V65 is optimized for more boost, less drag and greater efficiency at lower speeds. Below deck, eight guests enjoy four beautifully appointed staterooms, all bathed in natural light thanks to elegant hull glazing.
The Princess R Class
The R Class is a brand new series of high-performance sports boats with innovative design and breathtaking technology, debuted in 2018.
The R35 combines the highest boatbuilding skills with new technologies and materials. The hull of the Princess R35 is made entirely of carbon. The yacht can reach speeds of up to 50 knots.
